Q: What is CRP Material?

CRP Material is a material that mimics the properties of Carbon Fibre. CRP Materials are composed of 55% wood fibre, 30% polypropylene and 15% rubber powder. CRP can be used to replace steel bars inside concrete structures for earthquake reinforcement purposes - this technique has been patented in Japan by Kajima Corporation as "K-Reinforcement" . It's also known as the Japanese Method or Steel Fibre Reinforced Polymer (SFRP) method.

Q: Is Titanium Stronger than Carbon Fibre?

No, Carbon Fibre is one of the strongest materials, and Titanium does not come close to matching its strength. Carbon fibre has a tensile modulus of elasticity - 100 GPa (GPa) (or 1010 Pa). For comparison purposes: Aluminium 70 GPa; Steel 150-180 GPa; Titanium 45 GPa

Q: How Long Does Carbon Fibre Take to Decompose?

Carbon Fibre has a high tensile strength, meaning it won't break down easily over time. Whilst it can be broken down due to abrasion if left outside unprotected, this process would happen exceptionally slowly, making its lifespan indefinite. CFRP doesn't rust like steel.
